Attempt to hoist ‘Sinhala only’ flag: Tension prevailed at Thalatha Maligawa’s Magul Maluwa

A complaint had been made Police station, Kandy regarding an attempt to lower  the National  flag and to hoist a “ Sinhala only” flag by force yesterday.

This ‘Sinhala only ‘ resembles the national flag san the two strips denoting ethnical minorities.

This incident had occurred during an event organized by Battaramulla Swarna Sanga Fund.
