Consequent to international pressure to close down the notorious Boosa prison, attempts are being made without the consent of the detainees and prior notice to Rehabilitation Camps, said Attorney at Law K.S.Rathnavel.
People who were detained so far without being charged in courts so far are being taken to courts 10 to 15 at a time and hastely sent to Rehabilitation camps.
Saying that this is illegal, Attorney at law Rathnavel, expressed concern that Tamil political Parties or Tamil politicians are not taking notice of this.
He appeared for Jeyakumary when she was released, and said that 13 more persons including 6 women were produced before court. 8 of them were released on bail day before yesterday, he said.
