Attention drawing struggle in Kaakkai Theevu, Jaffna against Transgression of Indian Fishermen

The Fishermen from Kaakkaitheevu, Jaffna held an attention drawing demonstration yesterday against their fishing nets being damaged by transgressing Indian fishermen.

Commenting on their struggle the fishermen said that their fishing equipment have got caught several times to Indian Trawlers and got destroyed. Several hundred thousand worth of our nets have been damaged by them in the last two or three days. We demand a proper solution for this, they said.
