The granting of permission to construct the Entrance Arch to Thiruketheeswaram and the subsequent revoking of the approval by the Chairman of Mannar Pradeshiya Sabha, S.H.M.Mujahir, within 24 hours has shocked and bereaved the Hindu Population.
The Administration of the Thiruketheeswaram Temple had applied for approval for the construction of Entrance Arch to the Temple in a legal way. The Mannar Pradeshiya Sabha considered this application and granted approval for it.
