We believed in Sumanthiran but he has cheated us, he is acting like AG’s Translator , say TPPs
While saying that, Sumanthiran is acting like the translator of Attorney General, the TPPs have said that Sumanthiran whom they had believed in has cheated them.
TPPs are engaged in a fast unto death struggle from 14th September, at Anuradhapuram Prison, demanding that they released after short term Rehabilitation. Now their struggle has been strengthened by the engagement 42 TPPs in Magazine prison going into fasting protest in support of Anuradhapuram TPPs.
In this context, TNA’s Sampanthan and Sumanthiran met the Attorney General regarding the release of TPPs.
TPPs have said that the decisions of the meeting were not favourable to them in any way and that the persons represented us have not spoken about our main demand that we be released with a short term Rehabilitation. We are frustrated and disappointed in them speaking like the translators for the Attorney General. They have no concern about our release.
We are not going to stop our struggle because of eye-washing acts like this. Our struggle will continue, they had said.
