Buddhistization  continuing in Mulaitheevu, Hindu temple robbed to build vihare at Vadduvagal

The public of Vadduvagal area have accused that the premises of the Saptha Kanniyar (Seven Virgins) temple, located at Vadduvagal had been robbed by the Army and a Buddhist Vihare had been constructed there by them and this is preventing Hindu rites that had to be performed in the temple.

Even after informing the matter to several relevant  factions, the difficulties in performing the rites exist, it is reported.

The Saptha Kanniyar temple, located at Vadduvagal is found to be a historical and ancient temple where people had worshiped for a very long time. During the war period, this premises was occupied by the Army and a large vihare had been constructed, where no Buddhist people live, hindering the worship at the Saptha Kanniyar temple.

The Temple administrators had requested that relevant factions should intervene and find a solution for this problem.
