Clarify stand on unitary state, place of Buddhism: Dinesh tells govt

MEP Leader UPFA Parliamentarian Dinesh Gunawardena has demanded that the government must precisely declare its stance on the place of Buddhism under the new constitution. It must also clarify its stand on the unitary state and the 13 th amendment.

Speaking to the media in Colombo, he stated that the government was hiding behind popular slogans such as abolition of executive presidency and electoral reforms and implement questionable clauses.
