Come what may the hindrances, we will pay Homage at Mulliwaikkal, says Former CM Wigneswaran

Former CM, Justice Wigneswaran has bowed yesterday that whatever hindrances are encountered we will pay homage at Mulliwaikkal. He has called all Tamil people to participate in the commemoration at Mulliwaikkal.

In press issue he had issued yesterday he had said that the Mulliwaikkal Commemoration Committee had announced that 10th anniversary of Mulliwaikkal catastrophe will be held in Mulliwaikkal on May 18th  at Mulliwaikkal. It gives me much pleasure that the Committee had organized the event without any political affiliation. I thank them for it, he had said.

In a context where the attention of the International community being diverted away from the problems of the Tamil people after the Easter Sunday bombings, and the Government is using that context against us in different ways, we have an obligation to show that we are very clear on our rights and the justice that should be delivered to us.

Hence there is a need to observe the Muliwaikkal Commemoration peacefully subject to Laws of the country ,  standing on the same soil where the  Mulliwaikkal catastrophe occurred, he had said.
