Commemoration of Auvayar held in Vavuniya

Auvayar Memorial Day was held in Vavuniya yesterday at the Auvayar statue located at MamaduwaRoad junction, in Sinnapputhukulam, Vavuniya.

This event was held at around 9.00 a.m.  yesterday organized by the Vavuniya Town Council and was presided by the Chairman of the Council E.Kowthaman.

The Auvayar memorial oration was delivered by the Vavuniya South Education Zone Tamil ISA  Mrs. Niraimathy

This was followed by the participants garlanding and paying floral tributes at the the Statue of Auvayar.
