Communal thinking opposes Sampanthan as opposition leader: Ariyanenthiran

Batticaloa Tamil National Alliance Parliamentarian B.Ariyanendran has stated that the proposal to appoint TNA Leader Sampanthan has been opposed by certain persons and organizations due to majoritarian thinking and communal approach.

According to Parliamentary traditions, following the SLFP  joining the government, TNA leader is entitled to be opposition leader.

He was speaking at the Inter House Sports Meet of Vinayakar Vidyalayam  in Pavadkodi Chenai in the Western Educational Zone of Batticaloa. Principal Ravi Shankar presided.
