Converge on Muliwaikkal in pride demanding Justice, Jaffna University Students call out
We are nearing the 9th anniversary of the Ultimate Human Disaster at Mulliwaikkal. May 18 is with its historical importance as a day when the Eelam Tamil race remembers the injustices perpetrated against it and the consequent sorrows, demand justice from the world and rising in conviction to continue the struggle for justice. Rally to remember the Muliwikkal human disaster. The Jaffna University Students Federation has put out the above call.
The University students and youth organizations and the Muliwaikkal area people joined in to clear the site of the Muliwaikkal Memorial for people killed in the human disaster at Muliwaikkal, yesterday.
It is intensively observed in the international forum as to how the Tamils race will handle May 18th. This constitutes an arena on which the strength of Tamils will be demonstrated. We are pursuing arrangements for this integrated Muliwaikkal event, putting forward people who had borne the pains. The politicians who have conviction that they are qualified to come before the people and who think conscientiously will come forward by them to participate in this event.
Let us, who have been deceived in various ways in the world theater, make May 18th as day of rallying up and assuming new vigour, for the struggle to gain the justice denied to us. Let all the Tamils around the world rally together to show the world our aspirations.
