Corona Tests to be conducted at the University of Jaffna

The Dean of the Medical Faculty of University of Jaffna,Dr. Raviraj said yesterday that arrangements had been completed to conduct Corona tests at University of Jaffna as from yesterday.

Hitherto, these tests were carried out at Anuradhapura hospital involving much time.

The Corona testing unit had been established by the efforts of the Ministry of Health and the Director of Jaffna Teaching Hospital, Dr. Sathiyamoorthy. Now the Corona suspects in Jaffna could undergo these tests more easily, he said.

While saying that these tests will take approximately 3 hours, he also said that these test are being done under strict security and safe conditions. He also assured that the students and the employees of the University will not be affected by these tests being done at the University.
