Country in fear of Corona: Curfew relaxation an election ‘illusion’ accuses  ITAK

The Leader of the ITAK, Mawai Senathyrasa accused yesterday that the Government is trying to create artificial environment in the country by relaxing the curfew activities and undertaking activities in contravention to advices of professional experts so that they can boast of controlling the Corona menace. Through that, it is the intention of the government is to create an illusion among people that a situation had come to conduct the elections, he said.

In press release he issued he had requested the Minister of Education to stop attempts to start educational institutions and to conduct examinations.
