As there seems to be such conflicts regarding Thyilumilla premises, a an injunction banning any to enter the premises, the police applied. But the Attorneys at Law who appeared for the accused, argued that people go there for several reasons like to pay homage and for consolation of their minds and hence they are objecting to any ban.
Following this the court rejected the police application.
The attorneys for the accused who had engaged in building a memorial, brought to the notice of the court that the Pradeshiya sabai Secretary had brought the official photographer of a politician in his official vehicle to the Thuyillumillam. The Secretary told the court the the photographer asked for lift and he had given the lift. Court rebuked the Secretary for the act.
