On behalf of the Hill Country Social Research Centre, Rev.Fr. M. Sakthivel has said in a press release of the Centre that, in the current, context, the Tamil People’s Council has to coordinate the Civil societies with the people and intensify its constructive political activities. This will pave the way for it to transform into an alternate political force, recover the lost rights and attain political honour.
The way the Members of the NPC against the CM is revealation of a long term planning. The ITAK of Mawai Senathyrasa is directly involved and Sampanthan and Sumanthiran are aiding abetting it.
Racists are gleefully watching the current events. The HSRC identifies The persons who are the cause of this situation as collaborating with the forces that are against the Tamil Nationalism and the identities of the people related to it.
The CM is not a party politician. He was inducted into a party accidentally and became the CM with the overwhelming support of the Tamil people. His stances on Tamil Nationalism, self determination, genocide and land issues and the activities related to them are unbearable to compropise politicians and the rulers in the south. Their long term political intrique had resulted in the no-confidence motion now. The members of the Provincial council had been made comfortable scape goats of the plotters. The monsters in the guise of sheep who are staging high level dramas within our race should be driven away.
Hence the power of the Civil Society, intellectuals and the people should come together to back the intensification of the constructive activities of the TPC.
