Demo against President, PM’s arrival for Pongal Festival

A demonstration was held at the Jaffna Central Bus Stand as a protest against the proposed arrival of President Sirisena to take part in the Pongal Festival in Jaffna.

Northern Provincial Councillors Shivajilingam and Ananthy Sasitharan led the demonstration.
