Div. 1 Football Tournament of SLFF – St. Mary’s Navanthurai loses in its 4th Match
The Foot Ball matches of the Division 1 Football tournament organised by the Sri Lanka Foot Ball Federation are being conducted now.
The Navanthurai St. Mary’s Team met in its 4th Match , Colombo Moragasmulla team . This match was played on Sunday the 8th at the Duraiappah Stadium, Jaffna.
The first goal was scored by Moragasmulla Team and St. Mary’s equalized in a few minutes to end the 1st half 1:1.
Moragasmulla team scored a second goal in the second half and although the St. Mary’s team tried hard to equalize the score they were unable to do it leaving Moragasmulla winning the match 2:1.
So far, St Mary’s had played in 4 matches. It is notable that they beat Redsun Team in the first match, Colombo Cooray team in the second match and Old Bens team in the third match.
