I don’t believe that justice will be delivered in Joseph Pararajasingam’s case: Mawai Senathyrasa

Although the Murder case of former MP, Joseph Pararajasingam has been taken for inquiry after ten years of the murder, we are not satisfied on the judgments of Sri Lankan Government, the TNA had said.

The Leader of Ilankai Thamil Arasuk Kadchi, and MP, Mawai Senathyrasa has said as above while delivering the memorial oration  at the Commemoration event of 11th year anniversary of the killing of  Pararajasingham , held at the Devanayagam Hall in Batticaloa, held yesterday.

At the outset of this even presided by the Leader of the Youth league of ITAK, K.John,the photograph of assassinated “Mamanithar” Joseph Pararajasingam was garlanded and a sacrificial flame was lighted in his memory. Large number people including MPs, Gna. Sirinesan,S.Viyalenthiran,K.Kodeeswaran, EPC Agricultural Minister, K.Thurairajasingam and MPcs, K.Karunakaran, P.Indrakumar, M.Nadarasa, Gna. Krishnapillai, and representatives of the Party.

Delivering his memorial oration, Mawai said that, Joseph Pararajasingam who was a leader, guide and fighter for rights, was killed in a holy day while worshiping his God.People have risen up like Phonix and the soul power of hundreds of thousands of people who were sacrificed for our objective, stand with us today.

We are not satisfied with the judgments of Sri Lanka Government on cases where our people were killed in their numbers.

It is notable that, “Mamanither ” Joseph Pararajasingam was shot dead by unidentified persons , while he was attending Christmas service in the Piliyantheevu church in Batticaloa,  in 2005.
