We are drowned in entertainment without realizing the danger looming around: warns CM

Vultures are circling around us to gobble up the traditional Lands, habitats and fertile soil of the Tamils. But we are drowned in small time entertainments, the NPC CM. C.V.Wigneswasran has said. An event for gifting cycles to underprivileged student was held at the Ethical School of the Aram Chei  Trust at the Kumulamunai junction of the Pallavarayankaddu in Kilinochchi, yesterday Morning. The CM speaking there said as above.

Elaborating further he said, we are able to feel that actions are being taken to make the existence of Tamil people in the wide spread Vanni area a question mark, secretly and with long view under the guise of Security. It is a great question, whether we could control these actions.

We are endeavouring day and night, to stop these activities as much as possible to us. Assistance of the people in the respective areas is needed in this regard. And burry Buddhist  Attempts are being made to excavate out traditional signs of Tamils, burry Buddhist- Sinhala signs in their place, so as to claim later that these were habitats of Buddhist Sinhalese and that these do belong to Tamil people. Temple idols are being stolen.

This is a period in which our people at village level should be more vigilant. Each and every move of the Government should be watched carefully. Guileful moves may be reported through your representatives and we will be able to document such actions  and exhibit them to foreign countries, he said.
