Elect a party dedicated to win over our Rights, says Council of University Students Unions

The Council of Students Unions has put out a request regarding the forthcoming Elections.

In context where 10 years have passed after the armed struggle of Tamil people have been silenced we are encountering another election.

Taking advantage of our deliberate position southern parties and their stooges are trying to gain a foot hold here. Tamil parties here who say that they are dedicated to Tamil Nationalism are standing splintered by their in-house disputes.

Although today’s context is frustrating, we should not boycott election of slant towards parties propagating modicum of privileges.

Come out of this frustration identify personalities who will courageously raise their voices for the right of the Tamil and cast your votes to them, they have requested.
