The TNA MP, K. Kodeeswaran has said that an era of persons who have stained themselves with blood, killing and burying Tamil people in their numbers coming to power should not be re-created.
We need a candidate who will work with the poor people and who will consider all people alike.
He said so while speaking in an event held at Karaitheevu on Saturday.
A suitable candidate will be one who will safeguard the rights of minority people living in North, East and the hill country and who can handle the problems encountered by the minority people easily.
People with hands stained with the blood of hundreds of thousands of Tamil people they have killed and buried in the past had come before us. If our community will support such candidates, our people will be condemned to another dark era, he said.
