The remains of photojournalist late Kalabhoosanam Sankarakambar Kathiravelu were taken from his residence at Alaveddy and cremated on November 20. He was 84 at the time of his demise.

He had initially been a photojournalist of the Lake House Group of Newspapers and later a freelance photo journalist.
