Five fasting political prisoners fainted and admitted to prison hospital
Five of the political prisoners who were on a fasting protest had fainted and admitted to prison hospitals. Nevertheless the fasting protest is continuing in 14 prisons for the 3rd day.
T.Prabaharan, A.Gnnaseelan, and Sam who fainted in Welikade Prison and another prisoner who fainted in Anuradhapura prison were immediately admitted to respective prison hospitals.
Meanwhile the Commissioner of Prisons said that he will take action to send their memorandum to the president.
