The NPC CM, C.V.Wigneswaran accused that the Government agents are acting without taking the interests of the Provinces but only the interest of the Central Government into consideration. The monthly sitting of the NPC was held yesterday presided by the Leader of the House C.V.K. Sivagnanam. The CM answered as above, when the Leader of the Opposition raised question over a letter sent by the CM to a Government Agent.
They are only carrying out tasks of the Central Government and think only about the interests of the Central Government. Because of this situations unfavorable for the Provinces are created. Activities are not correct. Hence the Government Agents should take in our views also. Without being in the thought that they are Central Government employees they should also pay attention on the interests of the provinces into consideration.
When they are to implement the projects brought in by the Central Government they should also inform us about them, he said. Meanwhile, the Leader of the opposition said that the CM cannot order the GA and this matter should be approached as a political issue.
