Get prepared for the holy event of the Maveerar who had given their life in oblation                                

The Secretary of the Kilinochchi District Maveerar Commemoration committee has put out a call for all to get prepared for observing the holy event of the Liberation fighters who had offered their dear life in oblation in the liberation struggle

After 8 long and painful years we got a chance last year to clean the Kilinochchi, Kanagapuram and Mulangavil Thuyillumillams with massive contributions from the people, and light the memorial flames.

Likewise we are ready to light memorial flames for our saints in the Visuvamadu/Theravil, Kilinochchi/Kanagapuram and Mulankavil Thuyillumillams.

He has also requested all get prepared for this event and to lend their hands in Cleaning and renovation tasks.  The cleaning task could be carried  out particularly on Saturdays and Sundays and if possible on other days, he had said.
