Former MP, Suresh Premachandran condemned yesterday that, the Government is taking conflicting action regarding Corona Virus and it should stop taking such actions with hidden political motives.
A suspicion has risen as to whether the setting up of Corona testing centres for foreign travellers in North and East is an orchestrated move to destroy Tamil people en-masse.
He said these in a media conference held at his home in Kattappirai, Jaffna, yesterday.
If Corona had spread in Sri Lanka action should be taken after proper discussions with relevant factions. It should not take adhoc decisions with political agendas, he said.
The Government is taking conflicting decisions. While Chinese coming are exempted from isolation and observation other country men are sent to observation centres. The Government says that the reason for this decision is that Corona had been brought under control in China. Nobody knows why the Government is taking such conflicting decisions. It is not proper to take political action for purpose of the Elections, he said.
