Great challenge to Tamils in Livelihood to women, employment to youth and Education of students, says MP, NirmalanathanLivelihood to women, employment to youth and Education of students are three big challenges encountered by Tamils today. Tamil Diaspora, businessmen and politicians should come forward to defeat these challenges, said the Vanni District TNA MP, Charles Nirmalanathan.
He was delivering the Chief guest’s address at an event held at the Jaffna Religious Study Centre, presided by Rev. Dr. Stany Antony, yesterday.
Speaking further he said, We should thank the Societies which are undertaking activities to with the future of the our people and students who have lost their rights, properties due to war and struggling for their life. Even after the cruel war which was waged here, our race is standing erect, because of the Education of our students. Hence it is our duty to enhance the education of our students. But our students in North and East are still struggling to recover from the traumas caused by the merciless war.
In today’s context, our race could be protected immediately by creating employment opportunities for the youth, raising the livelihood of the women and enhancing the education of the students. Our has the power to create facilities for this. The ability to establish factories to provide employment is with the our Diaspora kins.
If the three factions of local and Diaspora politicians, businessmen and the Diaspora Tamils initiate action we will be able to triumph over these challenges, he said.
