Human remains in pit cut by CEB at Atchuyvely

Following the discovery of human remains in Sathosa premises in Mannar, human remains  were found in a pit excavated by the CEB in Aatchuvely. Tension prevailed in the area following this find.

When the CEB workers excavated a  pit for planting an electricity post, on Soosaiappar Road, Pathameny, Atchuvely, a skull hands and leg bones had surfaced. Great tension prevailed in the area after the find.

On the Atchuvely police being informed of the find they immediately came to the spot and started their investigations.

During the whole area was under the control of the Army, and speculations were rife as to whose are the remains?
