Important discussion tomorrow regarding release of army-acquired lands

An important discussion is to be held in the Governor’s Secretariat, regarding  release of acquired land in Jaffna district.

The Minister of Rehabilitation D.M.Suwaminathan,  Officer Commanding North, and the Chief Minister of the NPC are scheduled to participate in this meeting.

A decision was reached by the Cabinet to release 1,000 acres in Jaffna district. Tomorrow’s meeting will concentrate on location of this release and matters connected to re-settling in these areas.
