Under the Leadership of Maithripala Sirisena, Ranil-Mahindha could sign an agreement for coalition Government and solve the important problems of the Country, former CM, Wigneswaran suggested an idea to an Australian Representative.
A meeting occurred between the Former CM and an Australian Deputy High Commissioner, Victoria Coakly, in Jaffna.
The Commissioner told me that he came to find out about the situation of the Central Government and that of the Provincial Government.
We discussed about how the administration of the Government had been paralyzed and about how the political activities of the Central Government could be to pursued.
Then I suggested that under the Leadership of Maithripala Sirisena Ranil and Mahindha could form a Coalition Government to solve the most nagging problems of the country.
He asked me whether this will happen. I told him that if Maithripala who was leader of SLFP for 40 could form alliance with Ranil to rule for 4 years, it should be possible for Ranil to form a Coalition Government for the balance 2 years with Mahindha.
He praised me for thinking that way although I am in the North.
