Isolation unit for Army men near people’s residences at Kepapulavu- People express strong opposition

A system of isolating Army men who are stationed at Mulaitheevu when they return from leave has been started in Mulaitheevu. An isolation unit is currently established in the school premises in the Kepapulavu Model village and another in the Public hall near people’s residences, in the released lands.

People have expressed strong opposition for establishing isolation unit near people’s residences. In a context where the Kepapulavu Army camp is there, and an isolation unit was also established at the SLAF camp to isolate 203 Indian returnees,  People query the need to establish isolation unit near people’s residences.
