Jaffna Press Club honours Senior journalists
As a part of its 6th Anniversary celebrations, The Jaffna Press Club honoured 11 Senior Journalists for their dedicated media services during the civil war days.
Senior Journalists, M.V.Kanamayilnathan, Shanmugaraja Yogaratnam (Ratheyan), Sinnaththurai Thilainathan, A.N.S.Thiruchchelvam, Kanthasamy Arasaratnam, Vinayagampillai Atputhananthan, M.Vamadevan, Elayathamby Satkurunathan, and N.Yogendranathan were honoured in an event held at US Hotel, Jaffna, presided by the president of the Jaffna Press Club, A.Sabeswaran.
Two Senior Journalists, Pon. Poologasingam and Sithampara Thiruchchenthynathan were honoured posthumously.
