Jaffna Stallions win Lanka Premier League championship

The Lanka Premier League championship which had been conducted for the first time in Sri Lanka has been won by a Jaffna Team called Jaffna Stallions.

The Jaffna Stallions defeated the Galle Gladiators by 53 runs in the Final.

The Jaffna Stallions which won the toss elected to bat and scored 188 runs for the loss of 6 wickets, in 20 overs. The Galle Gladiators in reply, scored only135 runs for the loss of 9 wickets at the end of the mandatory 20 overs.
