Jaffna student tops island wide in Maths stream in the GCE A/L Examination

The results of the 2020 G.C.E. Advanced Level examination have been released online by the Examinations Department.

The results can be obtained via the website of the Department of Examination, www.doenets.lk.

Tanaraj Sundarbavan  of Chavakacheri Hindu College  in Jaffna district became Island first in the Maths stream of the GCE A/L 2020.

He has obtained a Z-score of 2.9422. A total of 1, 94, 297 students are eligible for admission to universities.

Tanraj Sundarbavan is a multi-talent student. He is very talented in athletics and has also served as the Senior Prefect of the school. He has also won medals at Mathematics Olympiad and Statistics Olympiad held abroad.
