Jaffna’s first Corona patient recovering, will return home soon, says Director, Jaffna Teaching Hospital
The Director of Jaffna Teaching Hospital, Dr. Sathiyamoorthy said yesterday that, the first Corona patient of the Jaffna District , from Thavady is recovering . He was confident that the patient will be completely cured in a few days and will be able to return home.
He also said that this was confirmed by the Director, IDH, Colombo.
A person from Thavady who was in contact with the Swiss pastor was identified as the first Corona patient of Jaffna District on 22nd March. He was admitted to Colombo IDH for further treatment, and being treated there for the last 15 days. I contacted the director of that hospital and inquired about the condition of the patient. The Director, IDH had then confirmed that the patient is recovering and will be fully cured in a few days and he may be able to return home soon, said the Director, JTH.
