The struggle undertaken by the people of Kepapulavu demanding the release of their lands reached its 200th day yesterday.
They are engaged in a continuous struggle demanding the release of 482 acre land belonging to 138 families currently under the control of the Army.
They have engaged in this struggle from last March pitching tents in front of the Kepapulavu Army Camp.
Various meeting were held and promises were made that the lands will be released. But we are not aware of when will the lands be released, said the people engaged in the struggle.
