Kurunagar Singing Fish beat Navanthurai St. Mary’s to crown as Champions of the  Yarl League’s 75th Anniversary Tournament

The Foot ball tournament  to mark the 75^th year of the Jaffna Foot ball League was held like a grand celebration.

The final of the tourammmmnament was held in Duraiyappah Stadium  on Sunday. Two strong teams of the peninsula, Kurunagar Singing Fish  and Navanthurai  St. Mary’s  were pitted against each other in this Final Match.

Although both teams playing well Kurunagar Singin Fish won the Championship assisted by goals scoed by  Santhan and Caines.

The President of the Sri Lanka Football Federation, Anura de Silva, the General Secretary Aiswar umar, Former Yarl League President, Antonypillai Kilibert, MPs , the Governor of the NP and the Mayor of Jaffna graced the occasion.
