We are losing confidence on this government. The activities of the Government with regard to problems of our people are undertaken on a slow pace, said ITAK President and MP, Mawai Senathyrajah. Earlier we had two struggling Forces. One is the LTTE and the other is the Democratic strength of our people. Now that we have lost one, we are depending only on the Democratic strength of our people.
In this context the Indian Government should exert pressure with relevant problems of the Tamil. What is left out in the Pre war and Post war periods is the tear of our people, he said.
A friendly conversation was held at the Office of ITAK located in Trincomalee, between a group of Tamil Nadu Journalists, lawyers, and representatives of political parties and a group of Trimcomalee TNA MPs, former MPs, Mayors, representatives of bodies, and senior members of the party.
The message given through the Tamil Nadu should reach the Central Government and India should continue to raise its voice for us, he further said.
