Mahindha regime’s Procedure followed by Attorney General, TPP cases transferred to Colombo courts, accuse TPPs

The TPPs the Attorney general is still following the procedures of the Mahindha Regime. TPPs’ cases are being transferred from courts they are heard now, they said.

The case of Kanagaratnam Geevaratnam (aged 44) was abducted by Karuna’s men and handed over to the police. His confession was rejected by Trincomalee courts and was in the verge of being released. But now his case had been transferred to Colombo, which means that his case will be dragged on now.

The Attorney is not following the policies of the good governance. Our cases are being adjourned for 6 months and we are worried about our future, they said.
