The case was taken up before the Mannar Magistrate Manickavasagar Kanesarajah, yesterday and he postponed it again to the 2nd of October this year.
A motion was filed earlier foe the non- human evidence articles be handed over to Kelaniya Professor who engaged in excavations with the assistance of Police.
Human and non-human remains were taken from the court’s custody and non- human remains were separated from human remains and put into a separate box.
While the separation was progress JMO Chamintha Rajapakse requested that legal assistance is needed and requested that an officer be named on behalf of the AG Department to be present at the separation of non-human evidence.
The Magistrate accepted the application and postponed the case.
