Many business centres to close down in Batticaloa during the relaxation of curfew today

Baticaloa Mayor Thiyagarasa Saravanabavan said that during the relaxation of curfew today, all pavement shops will be closed to avoid rush of people. All shops except Pharmacies, shops selling kitchen items, and fruit stalls will be closed and the markets are being decentralized to avoid over crowding. He further warned that strict action will be taken against shops selling under quality items.

PHIs will be in the field and people should keep their social distance of 1 meter, he said.
