Minister Kurukularajah and officials ‘imprisoned by teachers
The Teachers who have completed their service period in vanni staged a ‘lock in ‘demonstration demanding transfer from Vanni locking the gates of the ministry secretariat.
The minister and the officials were unable to gout and greatly inconvenienced as the demonstration extended into the night, police personnel’s were massed near ministry secretaries.
Demonstrating teachers said that the ministry is giving only dates but not implementing the transfer scheme minister Ainkaranesan Finally came to the spot and negotiated with the teachers.
