The Assembly of Minor Parties (AMP) will meet tomorrow 8th in Colombo to discuss 20A proposals. Response of the minor parties to the presidential proposals submitted at the cabinet on April 29th isexpected to be arrived at this discussion said DPF leader and convener of AMP Mano Ganesan.
Mr. Ganesan further said that the members of the core group of the Assembly of the Minor parties (AMP) have prepared the brief policy paper on the electoral reforms. It would be AMP’s response to the presidential proposals submitted at the cabinet on April 29th.
This policy paper would be submitted to the general council consisting the representatives all political and ethnic minority parties for discussion. All the political and ethnic minority parties, including the JVP, TNA, SLMC, DPF, EPDP, ACPC, CPSL, LSSP, LDF, NSSP, USP, CWC, UPF, NUW, EPRLF, PLOTE, TULF, DPC are expected to participate at this at this discussion.
