In further worsening of relationship between AAP government and Centre, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal dramatically alleged on Wednesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP can go “to any extent to destroy him” and even “can try to kill” him.
“I want to tell everyone today that it is a very critical time. In the times to come, this oppression is going to turn very dirty. They (the Modi government) can go to any extent. They can try to kill us. They can try to kill me. They can do anything,” Delhi Chief Minister said in a speech released on the internet by his party. Kejriwal asked his party men and legislators to be prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice.
This is not the first time Kejriwal is attacking Prime Minister. For last one year, he has been taking Prime Minister even for transfer and posting of officers in Delhi government and once he called Modi as “psychopath”.
Kejriwal attacked Modi when he found that many of few of his legislators were arrested in molestation cases in Delhi.
“Kejriwal’s comments are shameful. We condemn them. He used to harp on morals and spoke against corruption but has been unmasked. He now stands for protecting his corrupt colleagues, many of whom are involved in various crimes, including trying to cause riots to grab power. He should know that democracy is governed by the rule of law and if anybody violates them, the law will act,” BJP national secretary Shrikant Sharma said.
