‘Muralipalam’ in great numbers in  Vanni after a lapse of 32 years

Muralipal trees  in Vanni have borne fruits after a lapse  of 32 years. They borne fruit last, in 1984. People plucked them and sold then and earned good money selling them. This year also people of all ages are seen enjoying the fruits and plucking the for sales.

These tree are found in large numbers in Nedunkerny and people are selling at Rs. 120/= to Rs. 150/=

Normally these used to bear fruits every 12 years. This time they had taken a long time to re-bear fruits.
