” Muthamizh Vizha” in Batticaloa under aegis of Tamil People’s Council commence tomorrow
A grand ” Muthamizh Vizha” under the organization of the TPC cultural Sub-Committee, with the participation Northern, Eastern and up-country artists is to commence tomorrow in Batticaloa and will continue for three days. “
The Art, Literary and Cultural trends of Eelam and Challenges in an environment of Globalization.” will be theme of the event. The chief Ministers of Northern and Eastern Provinces will participate as special guests.
The Muthamizh Vizha has been organized to prevent the deterioration of Art, Culture, and traditional practices of Eelam Tamils.
Event of the first day will be held in the Vipulananthar Stage in scenic setting Batticalo Lagoon with the CM, NPC, C.V.Wigneswaran participating as the Chief Guest and the Commissioner of the Batticaloa Municipal Council , M.Uthyakumara will be the Special guest.
The 2nd day events will be held in the Prof. Vidyananthan stage with Prof. S.Maunaguru participating as the Chief Guest and and Additional District Secretary, Batticaloa, T.Arunagirinathar as the Special Guest.
The third day events will be held in the Rev. Fr. Thaninayagam stage with the CM,EPC, Habis Naseer Ahammadu as the Chief Guest and the District Secretary, Batticaloa, P.M.S.Charles as the special guest.
