NA’ unfair remarks irk: Hakeem

Sri Lanka Muslim Congress Leader Rauff  Hakeem has lamented that Tamil National Alliance particularly Parliamentarian Suresh Premachandran has made unfair remarks on his party over the issue of Eastern Province Chief Minister post. The tone of the remark is unfair.

He stressed that the SLMC obtained the CM’s post in the eastern province in accordance with an agreement reached with the UPFA. That must be understood in the right spirit. He does not wish to indulge in any argument with TNA in the same tone in the larger interest of both Tamil and Muslim communities.

He was speaking at a pradesa Sabha election election meeting in Aaalankuda in Mullaitheewu.

He appealed that it is is necessary for SLMC and TNA work in a harmonious manner for the betterment of both Tamil and Muslim communities. That should be the criteria.
