Northern Chief Minister leaving for London

The Northern Chief Minister, C.V.Wigneswaran will be leaving for London on the 14th to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Royal Borough of Kingston.

The MoU, which commits to building greater understanding and sharing knowledge in the areas of governance, healthcare, education and enterprise. It will also encourage greater links with Jaffna, where the Tamil community is the largest in Sri Lanka.

The ceremony will take place in the Council Chamber at Kingston Guildhall. Sri Lanka’s Hon. Justice C.V. Vigneswaran will deliver a keynote speech.

Earlier, the CM, his private Secretary and Deputy Leader of the House, Late Jeganathan were go on this trip. But, because of the demise of Jeganathan, another member of the NPC will accompany the CM to London.
