Northern Students start their Medal Haul at the 57th National Level Junior Athletic meet

The 57^th National Level Junior Athletic  is being held at the Sugathadasa Stadium. In the events held  on day before yesterday Medals were won by Northern Students.

Event : Pole vault.

Under 18 – Girls  – P.Thanusangavi  – Arunothaya College, Alaveddy – 2.90M –  Gold

Under 20 – Girls – N. Daksitha – Chavakacheri Hindu College– 3.20M – Gold

Event: Discuss Throw.

Under 18 – Boys – S. Mithunraj – Hartley College, Point Pedro -44.92M –Silver

Event : Speed walking 5000M.

Under 18 – Girls – R.Kowsika – Veerasingam MV – Meesalai – 31:30.80 Minutes – Gold
