The barbarous attack undertaken on the Easter Sunday, a Holy day for Christians is a condemnable act. Such attacks which targeted innocent people shows that humanitarianism is dying off, said the TNPF MMC, V.Partheepan.
Whether it is Christianity which teaches love, or Buddhism which teaches righteousness or Islam which teaches brotherhood, or Hinduism which teaches mental righteousness , all the religions have failed to create a healthy society. This setback is also a reason for this cruel attack.
Only those people who had suffered sorrow will understand the sorrow of other persons. As persons who had encountered such cruel attacks, we strongly condemn the suicide attacks made on Christian Churches and Hotels and express our condolence to the victims of the attack.
I also wish to record here, the Government which depicted and silenced our ethnic liberation struggle as Terrorism, and the allies which helped it would have understood the difference between Ethnic liberation struggle and the Terrorism, he said.
